Raccoon Lake (formerly Coon Lake) is a perfect little trove of fishing, canoeing, swimming and relaxing, all while bordering Kawartha Highlands Signature Site (part of Kawartha Highlands provincial park) with miles and miles of hiking trails, ATV trails and snowmobile trails as well. Four seasons of activities exist at the end of this quaint cottage road- that passes over crown land, while being maintained by the cottager association; watch out for a moose sighting if you're lucky enough!
